MY STYLE: NOMADA CHIC

Buenos días amigas!! Comenzamos la semana con un viaje imaginario al otro lado del Estrecho. Destino: Marruecos. Motivo: sus azulejos árabes que han servido de inspiración para el diseño del precioso vestido de indiwoman by individual ss 2011, que he decidido  mostraros hoy en mi último look. Aunque nuestra situación real sea Londres, siempre es mejor volar mentalmente a cualquier lugar por cercano que sea, que quedarse anclados viendo la tierra girar. Así que esta semana hemos decidido recorrer la península entera de Norte a Sur, pasando por todas las provincias de marcada influencia árabe que vamos encontrando por el camino. Toledo, Córdoba, Granada, Almería, Sevilla… La riqueza cultural de estas ciudades es inmensa; y el motivo por el que nos acercamos a ellas queda patente  cada vez que nos asomamos a cada uno de los miles e inmensos patios interiores que prácticamente cada casa allí tiene (y que yo soñaría con tener…). Artesanía, estampados tribales, folklore, fuerza, color… todo esto y mucho más es lo que nos encontraremos en nuestro camino hacia la ciudad de las mezquitas. ¿Os venís conmigo?.

Good morning my dear friends!!. Let´s begin with an imaginary trip to the other side of the Straits of Gibraltrar. Destination: Morocco. Reason: its Arabian glazed ceramic tiles which have been used as inspiration for this beautiful dress from indiwoman by individual ss 2011 collection, that I´ve decided to show you in my last look. Although our real situation is London, it´s always better to fly mentally to any place, rather than stay anchored looking how the earth revolves. So this week we´ve opted to travel all over the Spanish peninsula, from North to South, going through all the provinces with distinct Arab influences that we are findingalong the way. Toledo, Cordoba, Granada, Almeria, Seville… These cities´cultural riches are inmense, and the cause that has made us come closer to them are evident each time we have a look out of each of the thousand and great interior coutiyards that practically every house has there. Handicrafts, tribal prints, folklore, strength, colour… all these and much more is what will find on our journey towards the mosques´city. Do you want to come with me?
